Partnerships

Knoxville Baptist is an autonomous body of believers, governed by Jesus Christ who is the head of the church.  It is subject to no other ecclesiastical body.

Knoxville Baptist Church enjoys affiliation with the Crittenden Baptist Association, an association consisting of 32 local churches; the Kentucky Baptist Convention; the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as the associations and agencies of each.

In addition to the efforts of our own local church, these and other partnerships allow us to work in conjunction with other like-minded churches and organizations to engage in larger, more impactful evangelical efforts -- reaching the lost and ministering to those in our local community, throughout our state, and all over the world.

Accordingly, we support these ministries financially, designating a portion of our tithes and offerings as

gifts to the Cooperative Program (the funding mechanism of the Southern Baptist Convention providing the means to place hundreds of missionaries in nations throughout the world, as well as a myriad of other ministries), to the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and to our local Association of Churches.

Additionally, we engage in various other ministries including, but not limited to:

The Eliza Broadus Offering for State Missions;

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (for North American Missions), and the

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions; plus

Dozens of benevolence offerings as the need arises.
