OPPORTUNITIES
FOR CHILDREN
At Knoxville Baptist Church we realize the importance of reaching children and families for Christ. We are, therefore, intentional in offering resources, programs, and events that encourage them to grow in their knowledge and faith. Examples include: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, monthly events for families and children, Bible Drill, musical events, and annual events such as Christmas plays, Palm Sunday Egg Hunts, Fall Festival and more.
OPPORTUNITIES
FOR YOUTH
Knoxville Baptist Church is excited to have a flourishing youth group. The group has grown to love one another and to love God. Their leaders pour into them the truth of God's Word and provide dozens of opportunities to grow and to live out their faith. Examples include weekly Life Group, quarterly "Unite" events, annual VBS, camp, and Strength to Stand conference in Pigeon Forge, TN. These events are sprinkled with dozens of get-togethers throughout the year, making a life with Christ not only serious, but also fun. If you have a 6-12th grader we'd love to have them as part of our group!
OPPORTUNITIES
FOR ADULTS
As a smaller, rural church, Knoxville functions like a family. Adults and children/youth interact every time our people are together. It is truly a blessing to give children and youth the opportunity to learn from a loving, "wiser" generation while the "wiser" generation finds joy in sharing with our younger ones. Additionally, our adults enjoy their own Sunday School and Life Groups, Women on Mission, and various outings throughout the year.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUTREACH
Knoxville Baptist is a very mission-minded church. In addition to our tithes, we support the work of Southern Baptist missionaries all over the world with special offerings. We engage in local food drives, an annual back-pack ministry for kids in need in Kentucky, Operation Christmas Child to share the Gospel all over the world, and dozens of local efforts ministering to a variety of needs.
